Production process of plastic bottle caps

1. Production process of compression molded bottle caps

(1) Compression molded bottle caps have no material opening marks, look more beautiful, have low processing temperature, small shrinkage, and more accurate bottle cap dimensions.

(2) Put the mixed material into the compression molding machine, heat the material to about 170 degrees Celsius in the machine to become a semi-plasticized state, and extrude the material quantitatively into the mold. The upper and lower molds are closed together and pressed into the shape of a bottle cap in the mold.

(3) The compression-molded bottle cap remains in the upper mold, the lower mold moves away, the bottle cap passes through the rotating disk, and the bottle cap is removed from the mold in the counterclockwise direction of the internal thread.

(4) After the bottle cap is compression molded, rotate it on the machine, and use a blade to cut an anti-theft ring 3 mm from the edge of the bottle cap, which consists of multiple points connecting the bottle cap.

2. Injection molding production process of injection bottle caps

(1) Put the mixed material into the injection molding machine, heat the material to about 230 degrees Celsius in the machine to become a semi-plasticized state, inject it into the mold cavity through pressure, and cool and shape.

(2) The cooling of the bottle cap shortens the counterclockwise rotation of the mold, and the bottle cap is ejected under the effect of the push plate to complete the automatic fall of the bottle cap. The use of thread rotation to demould can ensure the complete molding of the entire thread.

(3) After cutting the anti-theft ring and installing the sealing ring in the bottle cap, a complete bottle cap is produced.

(4) After tightening the bottle cap, the bottle mouth goes deep into the bottle cap and reaches the sealing gasket. The inner groove of the bottle mouth and the thread of the bottle cap are in close contact with each other. Several sealing structures can effectively prevent the contents of the bottle from leaking or deteriorating.
